THFA-1 catalyst is a kind of industrial catalyst developed and produced independently by Liaoning Haitai Sci-Tech Development Co., Ltd. It’s mainly used for production of tetrahydrofurfuryl alcohol from hydrogenation of furfuryl alcohol. With addition of special promoters, the catalyst employs nickel as its active component and alumina as its supporter. The catalyst can be used in fixed-bed reactor. The conversion of furfuryl alcohol can be more than 99.9% and the selectivity of tetrahydrofurfuryl can exceed 99%.  Compared with other similar industrial catalysts, the catalyst developed by our company has the features of good low temperature activity, less side products, high crushing strength and long service life. Based on the features mentioned above, our catalyst can decrease energy cost dramatically and increase  economic benefits for our customers greatly.
